# Painted House

> Send one photograph of a house from the street and it is painted in one of 12 styles; before checkout the proof counts the windows, doors, gables and storeys in the photograph and in the painting and names any count that differs.

## What it is

A house portrait studio. One photograph of a home is painted in one of 12 styles in 4 sets (The Architect, The Watercolourist, The Printmaker, The Seasons), sold as prints on paper or canvas, or as the file. The Likeness Check counts six things in both pictures: windows, doors, gables, storeys, chimneys and porch columns. A count that differs earns one free repaint. A count is an aid to the eye; it never promises the painting is exact.

## How it works

- One photograph: one house, from the street, the whole front in frame, nobody in it. Phone photos are fine. A photograph that is not a building is refused before the engine sees it, and nothing is counted.
- One style: the same recipe that painted the two test houses on the styles page is run on yours. The prompt is built on the server, so what you get is the style you chose.
- About ninety seconds: the upright lands at 1024 × 1536 and the wide at 1536 × 1024. The master is rebuilt at print resolution the moment you pay.
- Tidy the Kerb, on by default: bins, parked cars, estate-agent boards and overhead wires stay out of the painting, and the proof says so.
- Refusals: nobody in frame; no words, wordmarks, logos or agent signs painted; no invented house number; nothing added to the building or taken away from it.
- Passes: every visitor gets 4 free passes. One pass is one render of one photograph, returned upright and wide. After those, 10 more passes cost $10. A repaint for a count that differs spends no pass.
- Looking is free and every render is yours to refuse: only the one you chose is printed.
- Your photograph goes to the engine to be painted, and a copy is kept beside the render so the proof can show and count the two. Anthropic reads both pictures for the count and does not train on them. Write to support@painted.app and we delete the photograph and the render.
- A paid print order waits an hour before it goes to the printer; inside that hour it can be cancelled and refunded in full. Files are delivered on payment.
- Closing gifts: an estate agent can paint the listing photograph, if they have the right to use it, and ship the print to the buyers' new address.
